Best Breakfast in town! Golf Course - Awesome!
By Dana, 10/12/09
Painted mountain Golf course is truly a hidden GEM !!! With a newly remodeled dinning room the new steakhouse offers amazing food at a great price! The breakfast is the BEST in town.. no matter what you have! With Great views of the golf course from the dinning room and wonderful servers- if you havent been in a while you need to give it a try again!!!!! Lunchtime they have the most AMAZING homeade soups ever!!! Highly reccomend for Breakfast, lunch and dinner.! Great atmosphere- the bar is great too with karaoke nights I hear as well!. People need to start remembering that this great golf course ( which is always very well maintained and fun to play) also has great dinning! Great prices, service and wonderful food! I highly reccommend it to all!

Very nice affordable course
By Ted, 05/30/08
My wife and I played this course today. First hole is a long par 5. The course is in greaqt shape and is easy to play. I normally shoot mid 90's. Shot 85. Played with another couple. Would highly recommend this course.

Call this a golf resort?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/07
Upon arrival we were greeted by the rudest man I have ever met and he was the greeter for the course..It was Christmas! The course was in poor shape not to mention golfing through the what looked like to be a trailer park..The "beverage" cart didn't hold very many beverages, just beer and a very crazy and disturbed cart lady. Unless your 90 dont go....

Over booked
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/07
My family members and I booked a weekend stay for a wedding and golf at painted mountain. On arrival I was told that they were over- booked and I was tranfered to a hotel 20 miles away in Scottsdale. The rest of my family had rooms there. I was upset but was told that nothing could be done. For my inconvience, I was told that painted mountain would pay for 1 of my 2 nights at the other hotel and that if I did not like the accomidations that I was free to make my own. I stayed 1 night at the other hotel then found a Hilton close to the wedding at a cost to me of $300.00 for the second night. When I got home I found that painted mountain had charged my credit card for the first nights stay. So much for the free nights stay for my inconveince!

Golf course
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/02/06
I really enjoy this course and the beverage cart staff is outstanding- as is the overall golf staff. The course is short and well maintained- very nice for an easy day to brush up on your game. The upstairs dinning however, is completely the opposite- it is akin to a Furs cafeteria. Its dark cold atmosphere is only exacerbated by the over-all feeling that you've been dropped into a convalescent home and there's no escape. I will rate only my golf experience since the dinning doesn't even qualify.

Gave it 2 tries
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/04/05
We were seated 2 feet away from the salad bar so had to put up with other patrons squeezing by to get their salads. The service was slow to bring the main course of "all you can eat fish fry", but quick to remove plates. Two small portions of fish for each person. Plates were taken while still eating last bites by busboy. Waited quite a long time for server to return and ask for more "all you can eat fish fry". Server seemed put out by the request. Six members in the party and five small portions were brought out on a tiny bread plate. No additional sides that came with first plate were offered. This happened both times we visited the place. Gave it a go again after being turned off the first time. Will not be coming back again.
