Jean Le Boeuf gave this restaurant 3 stars when he went for lunch, my family and I went for dinner it was excellent from the appetizer to dessert. We started off with Saganaki- a greek cheese and it was flamed at our table delicious the waitress recommended a greek wine to go with the cheese it's called Roditis it was great, for dinner i had the Shrimp Santorini Jumbo shrimp sauteed with onions, peppers, tomato, and feta cheese served over rice and I had to try the dessert I had Baklava my husband had the rice pudding which I had to beg him to let me try it, it was so good I had to order rice pudding to take home with me. I would definetely recommend this place and we are going back.
The food at first seems pretty decent but they don't seem to take care of what the food comes in contact with or if the food is quality or not. My boyfriend ended up with a case of food poisoning and even though it had been the only thing he had eaten all day they refused to admit that the food he had ate from there had caused him to get sick. That he must have ate something else or it must be something to do with him not the food. The owner was rude and refused to refund a $5.00 burger. Safe to say it seemed like a decent place, the waitress we had was awesome, but not worth the mess it ended up being.
This restaurant is Great! Very Family orientated..You will love the friendly atmosphere along with the excellent service and delicious food! I used to eat at Nestor's in Punta Gorda and Nestor, himself along with his beautiful family were always pleasant to speak with. You have to go and try their Greek Style Prime Rib and for dessert the Homemade rice pudding it is to die for!! I would eat it everyday if I could! Take it from a regular the place is delicious.... I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fresh and affordable meal!!
I have eaten at Nestor's in Punta Gorda, Fl many times before and since Hurricane Charley took it away I could not wait for Nestor and his family to reopen!! Now they have in North Fort Myers and the food is still great and so are the prices! The drive from Punta Gorda is not that bad if you think about the delicious reward! I am so happy that they have reopened!! Congratulations to Nestor, Anna and the girls!!
