Buena Vista

Buena Vista is one of my favorite houses to visit. As a past Coordinator of Buena Vista, it holds a very special place in my heart. The weddings that have taken place on the front porch or the front yard were so special. I used to walk the grounds and think of what it was like to live there years ago. The beautiful spiral staircase and the wooden floors and the molding in the double parlor were all my favorites. Visiting Buena Vista is a real treat for anyone wanting to walk the floors of a home established years ago. It is maintained by the Autauga County Heritage Association that cares about preserving the past.

Buena vista is a beautiful old historic home, the tour we had was wonderful and the home was fantastic. It has very nice furnishings and plaster moldings in all the rooms. It has a great "old" feel to it.
