Zeke's Charter Fleet, Orange Beach

Pay for 6 hours and you only get a half hour to fish. Will never charter with Zeke's fleet again.

IF YOU WANNA GO SHARK FISHING THEN THERES NONE BETTER THEN THE PLAYER!!! Went out 2 years ago on the Player and caught a 208 lb Bull Shark. The captain and the deckhand both do shark tournaments so they were all for the fight of that beast. I landed the shark within 45 minutes and we decided to keep it. They filleted the shark and we got about 15-20 lbs of delicious meat. Came back to Orange Beach this year for vacation and decided to go back out on another shark fishing journey. This time I pulled in a total of 6 Tiger sharks weighing from 75 lbs to the 200 lb keeper we caught last. The trip was a total of 12 hours but was the best fishing trip i had ever been on. Captain Kieth is quite but he knows were to go for sharks. The deckhands are very enthusiastic about shark fishing and are very knowledgeable about how to deal with one when caught. Erin, the main deckhand, is energetic an all around great guy to be around. I will definitely be going out on the player every time I come down to Orange Beach and ill definitely be doing more shark fishing.

The captain put us on fish and the mate Greg did an excellent job ! One big issue was that this was a walk on charter for eight (8),but ten (10) showed up ?? Per my understanding the captian decided to invite two of his friends out on our charter ! The eight of us paid for him to take along two of his bubs to fish on our charter. Pretty slick. I will pick a different captian/boat next time. REELJIM

Went out with some family and friends chartered two boats for a half day. had a awsome time catching snapper, flounder, and grouper. But the real treat was when i landed a big red fish. This fish fought more than any thing I've ever cought.

MY family and had our 1st trip to the Gulf Coast, we had never been deep sea fishing ,so we thought we would give it a shot. Not really knowing what to do, private charter, party boat, walk-on, back-bay in shore,well we had a couple of day's to fish so we booked a back bay /inshore and had a great time,again not ever going off shore we decided what the hell we will go on a walk on (GREAT CHOICE) i understood that most people want the party boat (price)we had a blast we were on the boat with 10 other people and had a ball fishing and meeting people and we actually went for 12 hours,i never thought I would make it but I did and we will be back!!!!!Oh and the girls in the office are awesome!!!!

I went out with this charter company and must say it was a very enjoyable experience! We went out on a shared expense trip and had the time of our life. I recommend this marina, everyone was so friendly. The staff in the charter office was extremely helpful and pleasant. This was our first deep sea excursion so we didn't know where to start,the girls in the office were very helpful. Our captain and deckhand made sure all the people on the boat had a wonderful time, we especially loved catching the red snapper! They fileted them for us and we cooked them that night. We'll definitely be back and book with Zekes!

The office staff is nothing but ticket takers. don't expect any useful information by phone;in person is not much better. This was our 3rd trip with the fleet in 2 years. All 3 trips were different boats but all had captains with short tempers and quiet mates. We go to have fun not try out for the Deadliest Catch. Spend your money at another charter service that wants your business not just your money.

If you want good service, fun and catch fish, you will surely ask for and pick the Distraction at Zeke's in Orange Beach. Capt. Troy and Lem are absolutely awesome. They asked us what we wanted to to and then gave us some options. When you have grandkids like I do, it is important to try and keep them entertained. My grandson Will went upstairs and we got pictures of him driving the boat. If you want a great charter I would suggest getting with these guys. You will catch plenty of fish and will see true professionals at work. They care! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering chartering a boat in Orange Beach. It was worth the Time and the value was priceless.

I have been coming to Zeks for the past 3 years and I store my Grady White (Ms. Gizmo) there and I have always had the best service by friendly honest people. Zek's is the best Marina in the area and clean with great dinning. The Charters are go for the value and the best captains on the Gulf Coast.

We went out on the Zeke's Lady party boat. I've been on several party boats, so I had some basis for comparison. The ticket with a 4-hour party boat trip is SPEED...everything needs to happen quickly to get a moderate amount of fishing time. This didn't happen with the Lady. The captain was 10-minutes late, and then decided the deckhand didn't go over the rules/instructions well enough and did so again (almost verbatum to what the deckhand had said) wasting another 10-minutes. We left the dock 30-minutes into our 4-hour trip. Now, the fishing was excellent...I was pretty much constantly catching red snapper, and others were getting triggerfish, shark, etc...but the first stop only lasted 30-minutes, we motored to another area, and drifted for 10-minutes but never fished, then motored to another area and fished for 15-minutes, then headed back. We got back to the dock 10-minutes early. To make matters worse, the deckhands had some "friends" (well endowed females) on board and asked us to move from the rear of the boat only to place them in our spot...you couldn't get a deckhands attention to assist with a fish, and thus wasted valuable fishing time waiting on them. We fished for almost exactly 45-minutes on the trip and most good party boats will get you 1 1/2 hours fishing on a 4-hour trip. Save your money and find another party boat.
