Adventure Island, Orange Beach

I like that I got to go out somewhere with my family and didn't have to go to an old and boring place that they like to go. We all had a good time and enjoyed ourselves every much.

This place has several attractions, but overall it's not worth the money. We first rode the bumper boats which were excellent. They have a built-in squirt gun which my 3 year old loved. We soaked his grandfather in about 2 seconds. We then rode the go-karts. They were average (nothing to write home about). Then we spent some time in the arcade, which was a complete waste of time. It cost $0.50 to $1.00 to play most games. Then they were over in about 1 minute. To top it off, we tried to claim some prizes with the tickets we won. I thought we had a good amount of tickets but all they got us was a bouncy ball and a small pack of sweet tarts. We stepped away from the counter and my son decided he'd rather have something else that he saw. When I asked if we could trade the ball, I was abrasively informed by the women behind the counter that there were no exchanges. I let her know that her confrontational attitude makes me not want to come back, but she didn't seem to care.

My family and I decided to take a break from the beach and the heat. The location was close to our hotel and was easy to find. We went on a day last year when it was not crowded. The go-carts were okay, but we had a great time on the bumper boats! You have never seen 2 little boys soaked to the bone before, as these 2 were! It was a great way to cool off in the heat. Then we went inside to the arcade, where we spent 2 hours playing all sorts of games. We had a wonderful time and there are a great variety of games to play.

Me and my boyfriend(age 19, 21)..went to ad. island. We played miniture golf, which was sooooo much fun, I loved the "trail" we had to go down. We also played in the arcade forever! Everything was soo much fun! We were BOTH hooked on it. It doesn't matter if you're a girl who loves shopping, you'll love the arcade also!! The only downfall is the price to some things, like $3 per play. Everything else was great!

I loved it because the service was great! One my part, I think that every employee should totally get a raise! They were all amazing, each one was nice and showed us the time we wanted to have on our 07' spring break! They have the best arcade room ever! They are everything you could want! I could totally have fun as well as my parents and my younger siblings (i'm 16 by the way!). You guy ROCK! I can't wait until my next trip so i can come back!
