Treated very rudely!

This place is organized in "booths" with different proprietors but a main cashier's desk. I asked if I could look at some jewelry in a few different cases. That means that someone at the main desk had to get a key and go with me to open the cases. I saw 5 people at main desk at various times while I was there. The first one who who opened one case for me acted like I was wasting his time. The second one, who opened 3 cases for me, also acted that way. When I hadn't decided to buy anything and sensing the hostility directed at me, I said to the man helping me, "I guess I will look at something else now besides jewelry." His response, said snottily, "That's a good idea."
I have been at other places like this and have always been treated nicely even if I asked to open a case and didn't buy anything from it. I spent maybe 2 or 3 minutes at each case, but apparently, that was too long for the employees at this store! IT HAS BEEN DECADES SINCE I WAS TREATED SO RUDELY IN A STORE!
I did end up buying some things from here, but I have no desire to return!
