What a fine place to shop!

This mall has everything. One of the best places to go on a rainy day or a anyday. Good places to dine within walking distance. Car washes, shoe shine and you can buy gas. Wonder through Best Buy or take stroll through Sam's Club. Right off the interstate and on the beaten path in the middle of the mega retail shopping area of Mobile. Take in a movie or just soak up the cold A/C on a hot day.

why i don't go there any more by derrick james

i live near bay minette,al which is about 30 miles from mobile and thier are 5 malls in the area and i rather go to any other but i have to hand it to them they have a great atmosphere the thing about it is that they have stores that are for teens and young adults and seens toys r us left i havent taken my godson again it has a cuple of stores for kids but its not anoght to get people with kids to come

Epitome of Dead Malls

Springdale just simply couldn't compete with the juggernaut Colonial Mall Bel Air just across the street or Eastern Shore Centre in suburban Spanish Fort. Developers have chosen to convert Springdale into a 'power center' -- a type of strip mall composed of big box, warehouse stores. Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Goodys Clothing, McRaes Department Store, a 14 screen cinema and Burlington Coat Factory are the anchors for Springdale. Sam's Club wholesale center is located in the middle of the action. Restaurants such as Logan's Roadhouse, Morrison's Cafeteria and Romano's Macaroni Grille are located on the center's periphery.
