Top O' the River, Gadsden

Just left Top O' The River in Anniston. We left after we noticed a ROACH crawling down the pillar that was directly beside our table. Yes, it was a ROACH crawling down the pillar. We got lucky. We saw the roach before our meal came out. YUCK!

This is a wonderful place to dine! Not only is the food great, but you actually get what you pay for!!!! Try it, you will love it

Excellent food. The catfish, coleslaw, turnip greens and cornbread were awesome! Our meal was fresh and hot. We had wonderful service and received our food in a very timely manner. The staff was very nice also. Can't wait to make another trip there to eat.

it took us forever to get our food and when we did get it it was cold.we told them and they brought us more and it was still cold

Coleslaw, fried pickles, greens, pickled onions, cornbread are delicious. Catfish is not that good, for the best catfish, go across the street to Pruetts. I don't care for seafood but my family does, so my choices are very limited. I wish they would add some other selections to the menu other than catfish and fried chicken or grilled chicken. Really expected more from this place. Do not order a chef salad, they do not know what one is--iceburg lettuce, tomatoe, imitation bacon bits is what I got. Also, restrauant is not that clean, could really use a good cleaning. Stick to Red Lobster or Pruetts. Service not that good either.

We enjoy the atmosphere and especially the terrific seafood. Wish we had a place back in Wisconsin that would even come close. Just have to wait till next year again when we look forward to coming back and eating there again. The catfish is like nothing we ever tasted before. Actually, I could eat it like candy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the best!!!! Can't wait to go back. Won't come soon enough for us. Thanks, Cindy Peroceschi

This is a great place to eat. A group of us come from Atlanta, GA and we have a great time. The food is excellent. Cornbread, fried pickles, cole slaw was m-m-m-m-m-good. I just can't say enough. Our pastor loved it. The service was excellent and fast, the staff was very friendly. Also the price was not bad for the amount of food you are served. Our over all visit was a five star. Top O the River delivers great food at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and my glass did not ever go empty with sweet tea. The cornbread and slaw that you serve yourself in a tin pan was great. By-the-way, the cornbread is served in a cast iron skillet. I will beback again!

This place is wonderful...Wish they would move to Houston. The food was wonderful.The waiter was great and the atmosphere was nice. I would go back every week if I lived there.

N43643 This place is great. This was the biggest catfish that I have ever seen on a plate. The fried pickles were off the chain, and the skillet cornbread was so good I wish that I had taken some back to Michigan in the plane. I can't wait to bring my fiance back with me.
