Playground, The, Dothan

The place is definitely not clean. It was overrrun by kids, some bullying others right in front of the adults "supervising." The soft play area has hight limits, but you have to pay for it as part of the package even though you can't use it. Way too expensive for what is included...not worth it.

I am scared to take my 3 children to the Playground in Dothan Alabama. The last time we went I was shocked to see all the teenagers that were walking around using bad language and smoking outside the front doors. Many of which were the employees and their friends. I mentioned this to a lady manager and she didn't do anything about the situation that I could tell. I will NEVER RETURN a poorly managed facility.

There was a pervading odor of stale feet as we stepped inside. The skating ring had spilled drinks and other objects on it. The eating area was quite unappealing upon seeing the messed up floor and messy tables. The water fountain is broken and filled with debris. The bathrooms are filthy, Many of the skates are in disrepair. On the weekend it seems instead of skating many of the kids are loitering. The current manager at that time a female had a horrible attitude.

My church took a trip to the Dothan playground!!!I couldn't WAIT to play lazer tag!Brother Don took us in,and we watched a Rules movie.No ducking,crawling,or shooting at someone over and over.My team won.YAY!!!The pizza there is delicious too.The arcade is the funnest.there is rock climbing thing,but I'm better at games.I hit a jackpot at the hurricane.IT NEVER STOPPED!!!It gave me 200 tickets!I bot a blow up bat and candy.The skating rink's fun too!EVERYTHING IS AAAAAAAAAAAAWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!!!!

CONS: This place was filthy!! They have a sign posted in front of the soft play area that states "No Shoes" but since the place was so dirty and my 21/2 year old kept finding trash inside the jungle gym, I made him put his shoes on to play. The floors were sticky and looked as if they had not been mopped in months. It seemed as if 30% or more of the arcade games were "Out Of Order", so good luck in there. There is not a baby changing station in the Men's restroom. It's a kid's playground!!! PROS: Good for ages 3 and up; 2 1/2 year olds and below tend to get scared in the jungle gym so us dads end up climbing into it to retrieve our babies. It is a tight fit. Nice skating area.

I GO TO THE PLAYGROUND EVERY SAT. IT IS SO FUN U NEED TO GO THE WHOLE FAMILY WOULD ENJOY TEENS WOULD REALLY LOVE IT IS A GREAT PLACE IN ALL

Our children (1 and 3) love to play in the soft play area. My husband and I like to play air hockey and he takes advantage of some the video games. We went one day when it wasn't very busy and my children were able to roll around the skating rink on a contraption that they sat on, so even my one-year-old could do it. Sometimes the music is too loud and the videos on the TV screens a little adult for what I prefer my kids seeing, but the kids are usually too busy anyway. The price is very reasonable for us, and we visit regularly.

One year my five year old sister had a party there and she said that it was the best birthday ever. then she commented that it was the funnest place in the whole world... except for Disney World.

We went for a school field trip and had the place to ourselves. It was very nice. We would do it again.

I was extremely disappointed with our experience at The Playground in Dothan AL. My 4 yr. old son was injured when he was in the "Soft Play" area. He came out crying saying he had fallen on a metal bar up in the soft play area. I had him show me where it was. The area that has 5 buffers with the nylon webbing going over 4 of them with one single buffer in the center, was in disrepair. The webbing on the top had a large hole in it that a small child could have fallen through to hit the middle buffer which did not have the protective foam around it. My child went over the hole with no problem, but when he came down on the other side, the webbing was not attached to the last buffer, and the padding that was supposed to cover it had fallen down off it, and it had a metal bar exposed so, when he came over the top he slipped down and fell straddling the metal pole (hurting his privates and bottom area). We reported it to them manager and nothing was done. He didn't even apologize or ask if my child was ok. The children did enjoy the skating, and after a rest my son did go back to the soft play avoiding the damaged area, but I will not be returning until I know they have fixed it.
