Wright Dairy

I live in the area and have been going to the dairy for many years. Some of the attractions there other than the awesome products are: - A ride around the cow pasture which gives you awesome info about cows. - Feeding Baby cows their bottles. - Watching them milk the cows - Watch the bottling process - Get to see other farm animals - Sometimes if at the right time watch a mother cow give birth!

I have been to the dairy farm many times. I love their ice cream and cheese. I have not yet got around to the milk or jams, but I do plan to on my next visit. The last time I went we got some of their bacon and it was to die for. It was so good. I love this place. If you want good fresh cheese and ice cream this is the place to go. The people who run the business are very nice also which makes things even better.

We moved to Alexandria, Al seven years ago, and have purchased milk, buttermilk, ice cream and cheese, preserves, jelly, butter, and they have their own ground beef, which is the best we have ever eaten,(no gas) I make my weekly shopping at the Wright Dairy because I know it is healthy and good for you, plus you want find nicer, friendler peoply anywhere in the world. I am from Florida and was visiting my son who moved to Anniston in July. I wanted to get my husband some fresh buttermilk to bring back to him. On my last day we stopped in at just the right time. Milking was about to start. My grand kids loved it. The grandson I brought with me from Florida talked about it all the way home. The people there were very friendly and the guy doing the milking even squirted the kids with milk. They got a kick out of that.

My grandfather took me by the farm on our way home from a doctor's appointment one day. I had heard about the place after my father and brother had toured it on a boyscout trip and was excited to see it. The farm did not disappoint. You can watch the milking if you get there at the right time, and watch the bottleing process too! The people there are very nice and personable and I can vouch for the flavor of just about every cheese there - it's all good!! I go back to it occasionally to get cheese for special occasions, or just when I get a craving. They candy's not bad either. I fully endorse any trip you might want to take to this place. It's great!
