Great Place
By J, 7/13/10
What a great stop. Mary Todd lived here as a girl and later brought her husband and childeren. The house is wonderfully restored, and the tour guides do an amazing job. They are so well informed and even-handed in their history. As a historian, I know a lot about the Lincolns, and I was unable to stump the tour guide at all! The house is full of pieces belonging to the Todd family and Abraham and Mary. The tour covers the entire house and Mary's life with all its intrigue and tragedy. It is 9 dollars for adults, the tours start on the hour, and it takes about an hour to go through the house. Worth the time and money!

Great Tour & House
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/12/08
It was a great tour with a very knowledgable interesting tour guide. He knew facts about Mary's childhood and insight into her complex personality plus family interaction and lifestyle. House fully furnished with period and original furnishings. It was quite an experience to know you were taking the same stairway and steps that Abraham Lincoln took when he visited the house. The tour was definitely worth the money and time.

Great history
By christa, 9/19/06
We loved the tour of the house. The tour was full of historic facts and stories about the Toddls. We loved the drapes in the front hall. It is a great place if you like Lincon.
