American Cabaret Theatre

ACT is the only completely musical theatre in Indianapolis! Another kewl thing about it is that the majority of the shows are written by the director. So where else can you go to see an original musical?

I remain a fan of ACT even though they have lost the actors that kept me coming for 13 years as a season ticket holder. I wonder if the new administration is going to take hold and make the experience the great value it was. I sure hope so. For those who remember Bob, Shannon, Peggy, Jerry, Brenda and the other regulars, sure wish we could see them again.

"Always, Patsy Cline" We thoroughly enjoyed this production. It was just wonderful. We are always amazed by the talent here in Indy and are grateful that the Cabaret Theater continues to bring it to us. We really loved "Always, Patsy Cline" and would like to see it again. Of course, Patsy is a favorite of mine, and Melissa Schott really performed her songs wonderfully. Vonda Fuhrmann was a great comic and acting addition. I hope the crowds pick up, because this is a great show. Mrs. Guiliani

Perhaps the best value for your entertainment dollar in Indy. The ACT uses mainly up & coming college kids who all have amazing talent & energy. It may not be broadway, but they sure put all their heart into each & every performance. I have never left an ACT show feeling short changed. I have no doubt that some these kids will be big stars one day. And being located right next to the Rathskeller, it makes for a great dinner & a show night. If you've never seen an ACT show, then treat yourself & get to the next one!
