I use to be a BIG fan of Claddagh's until the last few visits in 2010. Before then the menu was excellent and so was the service. I travel to Ireland monthly so it was always fun to go to Claddagh's for my favorite food and English cider. After the menu changed so did the quality of the food and service. On my last last visit to Claddagh's we were seated in an area that was not the most desirable part of the pub and asked to be moved. Much to the chagrin of the hostess she reseated us. The wait staff was even worse. They ignored us most of the time and only came to our table to deliver food. I wrote to the Manager of the Claddagh's and received no response to the horrible service so I have never been back. Why should I when I can get the real thing in Ireland with their great service and friendliness.
The fish and chips are the best in Indianapolis! If you are looking to get full and eat at a reasonable price, then this is the place to go. If you are looking to get fuzzy eyed off of the drinks alone, it may put a dent in your wallet. Beers are a bit pricey, but they are high quality beverages.
The food is excellent, the staff is helpful, the atmosphere is authentic and the city is very welcoming. Love the Claddagh. We go there every year at least once (this year 3 times) when we are in Indy. Try the corned beef and cabbage rolls!!!!
