New Manager
By brookd, 08/25/08
I left a message with the Trolley Co. on Friday evening and heard back from Chris on Monday morning. He was very friendly and willing to accommodate my wedding requests. I think that the Trolley rate is the best around (quoted at $90/hr). The bad reviews must be about the old manager Julie who has since moved to California. Chris is great!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
By patticake1968, 08/12/08
We took a family trip with 6 adults and 10 children. We went on the trolley tour. Chris our driver was WONDERFUL very helpful and patient with all the children ages from 2-13. Very knowledgeable of the Springfield area with a great sense of humor. We will do this again and often.

What service???
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/07
My mother and I tried to get a hold of Springfield Trolley Tours for months to drive my wedding party. The voicemail was always full. If it wasn't full we never received a call back. I finally faxed and personally went in to the office. I was then told that all of the trolleys were booked by one individual. In all of this time I believe that someone should have acknowledged our phone call. If there are too many calls then get more employees to answer phones and questions that potential customers have. If it is too much for her to manage get someone else who is more organized to run the business. What a shame!!

Owner is incredibly hard to deal with and grouchy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/07
my home daycare has taken the trolley tour every summer for years and let me tell you that the owner Julie is not a nice person or an easy person to deal with....she would get a 0 out of 10 on that ......she just plain doesn't care what you say, think or feel about her service....I have even had drivers in past say that many people have had that experience with her and pointed to the number of corporate office on the side to complain, but I don't think it did any good....we still take the trolley tour each summer because the kids love it, but that's the only reason, otherwise I would protest it because of Julie......sad, but true, luckily most tourist don't have to deal with her it's only us locals.....

Great Service and Drivers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/06
Our agency used the Trolleys on two separate occasions, shuttling over 80 people to and from the lake. Their Manager went the extra mile to ensure our visitors had a pleasurable experience, as did her drivers. We couldn't be happier and look forward to using Springfield Trolley again for this year's conference. Good Job!!!

Poor Customer Service!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/05
We hired the trolley service for transportation for our wedding. We should have listened to everyone else when they said how evil the owner was but we thought we would take our chances. Yesterday my mom called about our $200 deposit and the owner said she was keeping it because we did not clean the trolley per contract specifications. When my mom told her that her driver told me I didn't need to clean, she called me a liar! So I called myself and immediately she said "I am not talking to you about this" And proceeded to tell me how she had to clean the trolley on her day off for four hours because I was partying too much to care. First- she wasnt there, how would she know- second, its her job, she doesnt need to complain to me about it. And third- I offered to get on there and clean it and the driver said there was nothing on there but a few cans and he would get them. She then told me he was not in the position to tell me that, although he also told her that no one offered to clean at all. Well if he was not in the position, then he shouldnt have said that because how are we supposed to know who is in the position to say that and who isnt? He is an employee of their company, I figured if he said it was ok, it was ok. Then she began to yell at me and tell me that we can take her to court and that she was not talking to me anymore because I was a liar. Oh and by the way, they also forgot to pick up our Pastor's daughter from the church on her wedding day! Oh and the whole experience ended up costing us $800 for about 3 hours of usage!! I would not use them for anything considering their horrible customer service and poor recommendations I have received from other people in town!
