Beautiful building and beautiful views
By ,
This was one of my favorite spots in Santa Barbara. If you enjoy old or historic buildings, this one's a beauty. I couldn't get over the tile floors. The 360 degree views from the lookout were spectacular too. And the admission is free - just walk on in!

We are getting married there!
By ,
My boyfriend is from Southern California and talked to me about Santa Barbara. (I'm from the Pacific Northwest and lived in the shadow of very beautiful surroundings) He told me how beautiful Santa Barbara was and how beautiful some of the buildings were including the courthouse. I was a bit skeptical but I wanted to make my own decision. Buildings such as this are meant to be churches or cathedrals not courthouses. Needless to say it was and is one of the most stunning buildings I have ever seen. When he brought me up to the clock tower it took my breath away. You are able to get a 360 degree view of gorgeous Santa Barbara and the surrounding communities. We are going to go back in October to get married there.

You Must See!
By ,
You would not believe this Court House. Just stop by and walk the halls if you don't have time to take a tour. Just walking across the courtyard it breath-taking. The landscaping is awesome. Make sure you have a camera.

WOW- Worth it for the view
By ,
A little know spot in Santa Barbara that can give you a view of the entire city, the mountains and the beach. Plus the old courtrooms gives you the feel of how old Santa Barabra really is. It's totally free to go see so if you're walking State Street take a walk over here to see!

Beautfil (and free!)

The best building in Santa Barbara. This place is unbelievable. I recommend doing the free docent tour, but if it doesn't fit in your schedule, at least check the place out on your own. There is no charge to walk around this building. Take the elevator to the top for incredible views of Santa Barbara.
