Wonderful museum, great overview of Santa Barbara and CA history located in the heart of downtown. The museum was built in 1965, on site are two historic adobes (1817 and 1836). Two featured galleries; 1) Sala Gallery which features 3-4 temporary exhibits a year, and 2) Story of Santa Barbara Signature Exhibition. The museum has a beautiful courtyard which can be rented out for private and coporate invites (including weddings). Free admission, donations appreciated.
