Victorian Vogue and The Costume Shoppe, Santa Barbara

So a couple of days before Halloween a couple of my friends and I stopped into Victorian Voge to pick up some key componets for my costume. When I went to RENT boots, a hat and a vest and the owner told me they are no longer RENTING you have to Purchace the items. What a crock. Its Halloween and this is what you specialize in and you want to charge me $250 for these items that would only cost me $50 to rent? The owners excuse was she was going to have too much coming back after the holiday. Isn't that your business? Way to rip off the locals that support you. And thanks for thinking we are all so stupid to believe your excuse that you can't handle ALL those returns. We hope the shop is ready for the mad rush for the second week of November, there are so many "theme" and "costume" parties this time of year.

the staff are extemely knowledable and the store has all the resources to create the best and most authentic looking costumes ..... they've never let me down!
