My wife and I had the best service and the most delicious food at Palazzio. I can understand why everyone told us to go to Palazzio for Italian food in Santa Barbara. The waiters were professional and very nice. I espcially liked the Garlic Martini and the special dessert that had been served to President Ronald Reagan. When we return, we will be going to Palazzio.
From the self-serve wine to the friendly staff (ask anyone at all for help) to te massive portions, this is Italian food as home-away-from-home.
The food is great, down to the last detail (especially the tasty details of their own blend of coffee courtesy Santa Barbara Roasting Company and the Tiramisu that was served to Reagan). Pasta is a bit sauce-heavy, but delicious.
The service was very friendly, if a little forgetful at time. We had a great meal and left in high spirits.
Be prepared to order a 1/2 dish because they serve the largest portions in town. The garlic rolls are addictive...
Fun atmosphere...there's nothing like drawing on the "tableclothes" while you eat. A little on the loud side. Great for a night out with some friends.
The food is a little above average, but the atmosphere, service and location make it a fun place to go.

And the garlic bread they serve is sinfully oily. But in general, it was pretty tasty! The service was very friendly. Mid way through our meal, the waiters broke out into song (That's Amore!) and toasted the guests. Sort of cheezy, but after a glass of wine, it could be sorta fun. On Saturday night, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table,
