Treated rudely by staff

I contacted Temsco Helicopters to go on a tour In Juneau, Alaska. Although I didn't take the tour in Skagway both areas are ran by the same company. I was traveling with a large group and wanted to make sure that this would be a good fit for us. We chose to take the flight that took us to Mendenhall Glacier, let us get out for about 20 minutes and then come back. We decided to take 12 people from our group, as we were told that 6 people would fit in a helicopter, and we wanted to all go together. To make sure that this would work, at their request, I emailed Temsco with all the names and weights of every member of our group, and was told we would be able to fly together in two helicopters. This was very time consuming for me but I wanted to make sure that when we arrived I had asked all the right questions so this would be a memorable experience for my family.
On the day of the flight we meet our transport without a problem and while we were in route to the facility they had us feel out a card as to whom we wanted to ride in each helicopter. We had children with us as young as 4 years so it was important they ride with their parents. When we got at the facility they separated us into groups. As they called out the names they had split our group into 4 different helicopters with the young children flying in a helicopter without an adult from our group. When we questioned the error they became very defensive and irritated and acted like they were doing us a big favor to let a parent ride with their child. They made the change but then sent my husband by himself in a helicopter with no one else from the group. Again we asked for a change to be made and with four employees confronting our party comments such as these we made "It is only a 15 min flight, just get in," "You were not told you could go together," "We can give you back your money and you can go now," "We already made one change for you."
Knowing that we only had a short amount of time in Juneau, and that there was no way for us to do another excursion (they know that also that is why they knew we wouldn't take the offer to get our money back). We decided to go. I got on the helicopter in tears. For the employees at Temsco going up in a helicopter may not be a big deal, but this is something I have never done and was really excited about. When you pay well over $200 per person to go on a "15 minute helicopter ride" as the employee so rudely said, you expect to go with at least someone in your group. Instead of a memory that my husband and I should have shared together of going up in a helicopter for the first time. I now have a memory of being treated so rudely to the point of putting me in tears.
I later called Temsco air and spoke with the lady that had originally helped me set up my reservation. She promised to have a manager call. A week later still no call.
My advice if going to Juneau, go whale watching. The other half of our group did that and loved it.
