Adventure Bound Alaska-Tracy Arm Cruise, Juneau

Likes Saw a black bear, eagles, whales, birds of all kinds,mountain goats, magnificent mountains, icebergs, and two glaciers. Got very close to one glacier and saw it calving. Noise from the calving was exciting and amazing. Seating was adequate. Dislike Don't sit on the port side of the ship. I caught the sun coming and going and it was very uncomfortable especially returning. A few window shades would have made the trip much more pleasant. They said they would clean the windows "usually three times" during a trip but only cleaned them once. Watch where you walk when you go outside and walk along the side of the ship. I witnessed three different people stumble when walking along the side of the ship. I was really surprised at how few hand safety holds there were. I am tall and the outside railing hit me below the waist making it difficult to take pictures while standing and maintaining a feeling of security.

Family had a great day. Too along our 6 & 8 year old and they had a blast. Adventure Bound knows area well and sets a great, enjoyable pace for the day. Highly recommended.

This was the second ocean sight-seeing trip that we took while we were in Juneau. The first was a 4 hour rip-off. Adventure Bound Alaska was truly worth the money. Got alot of bang for our bucks. If we are ever fortunate enough to get to return to Juneau it will be a trip worth taking a second time.

I love to go their it is so much fun! When went canping and have alot of fun my daughter wants to live their I said no honey. I bet we would be their again.

There was nothing to dislike, the Captain and crew were great. We enjoyed every minute of the tour and hope to go back. We saw an array of wildlife and the glacier was a sight to behold.

Outstanding day trip from downtown Juneau into Tracy Arm to Sawyer Glacier! On the way to Tracy Arm we saw humpback whales. Near the glacier there were hundreds of harbor seals and their pups on the icebergs. (We were there on July 2, 2005) This is a small ship that gets really close to the toe of the glacier. We saw two huge chunks calf off. Amazing. You can hear the snap, crackle, pop of the melting pieces of ice. Lots of sea birds to see on the 3,000 foot shear granite cliffs of the fjord. Well worth the price. The crew is friendly and very helpful. Bring your own food, though as food available on board is extremely limited. Hot beverages are available, too. Bring warm clothing as it is cool in front of the glacier. Bring rain gear, too, just in case.

What an adventure! From the moment you step onboard to the last step from the boat you have a great time. The captain and crew are very knowledgable of the area and fill the run to the glacier with history and points of interest. It's not one of the normal tours that every items is to a schedule. As we approached the inlet to the fjords we were given ample time to watch and photgraph a humpback whale playing amongst the icebergs. The cruise inside the fjords were not hurried and we were given a wonderful experience that we will never forget. I highly recommend you take the time to see the best Juneau has to offer with the best captain and crew I have had the pleasure of cruising with.
