it is influence and i like it because it gives kids something to do instead of in the streets with violence.
The museum is very nice inside and haves alot to learn and it gives people something to think about when you think about your ancestors.
This is probably one of the worst things you can do in Milwaukee. It was a good idea when first introduced, but management has let it dive stright into the ground. The wall paper is peeling from the wall. The descriptions below pictures are vauge and look terrible. Not to mention that the museum is located in a terrible area. You can see from the front of the building that the place is a hole. There are two african flags hanging and they are torn to shreads. DONT GO.
I loved the Black History Museum! I went there with my school when I was in 3rd grade and never forgot it. I try to go back every year. I am now in the 10th grade, this museum made me want to do a report on the "Black Holocaust" It was very sad to hear that the founder of the Black Holocaust Museum died. When I was in 3rd grade I got the chance to meet and talk with him. He shared his powerful story with us and it changed all of our lives. When you visit the Black Holocause Museum you will be changed for life, guaranteed!!!
Mr.Cameron, himself, took us through a guided tour of the museum, before he became ill. I think that there is no other place like it. It is truly an amazing place. I used to go when it first opened on 3rd street, now known as Dr.Martin Luther King Drive. Everyone, regardless of race, should visit this museum.
