Heritage Hill State Historical Park, Green Bay

It was horrible because the information they gave us was not very informal, or helpful. They did not have any activities for the kids to do. And the atmosphere of the workers was not very good they acted like they didn't want to work there.

Very nice place to visit. Have been there many times in the past. But returned after not being there for a number of years. Pleased to see that they have added on to the park with the Belgin Homestead, but sad to see that they no longer continue the first person impressions, but now do third person instead. Still a great place to visit to learn about early WI. Recomend it very much

this place is really interisting yet boring all at the same time. there are things that are really cool and there are some things that are really lame.

Heritage Hill Park in Green Bay, WI - what an amazing place to spend the day. My children ages 6 & 12 both enjoyed there time spent wanding around the historical buildings. We all enjoyed the People/staff that were dressed in period outfits. They expecially liked the "fur trader" as he involved them in the activites at the "La Baye" area, then again the Ladies at the "Belgian Farm" also peaked their interests. I personally enjoyed the artifacts and personal aspect the staff at the park portraid. A MUST RETURN AGAIN! We are thinking of getting a year pass to enjoy the park more often. What an asset to have in our own backyard!!!! GW

i have been there several times for re-enactment camps (the french and indian war, both times). i was thrilled with the enactors enthusiasm and knowledge of their character, their equipment/clothing/buildings and their overall knowledge of the time period. the kids loved the real blacksmith and could have watched for hours as he made practical (and some not all that praCTICAL BUT nifty any way) period items. this is definitely a must stop for all fans of history. and if u are not a fan of history, you may very well become one after visiting heritage hill.
