Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve, Green Bay

I recently visited Barkhausen and was amazed by the natural beauty of this county park. Unlike county parks in my hometown this facility is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, but at the same time only five miles away from Green Bay. If you enjoy the scenic beauty of nature and the natural world at it's finest then this is the spot for you. The trails are wonderfully maintained and the building has a wonderfully kept display of local animal/plant displays. The site is home of a waterfowl preserve which is apparent as one travels by foot through the trails, or by car around the drive. Take a look for yourself, I think you'll enjoy.
