Poor customer service, not for beginners
I only recommend this company for experienced riders who don't mind riding alone. I had never ridden before, the man at the counter joked about how rough the water was but didn't seem to make an issue or cause for concern out of it, he was litterally laughing about the day we picked to go out. After you pay, they tell you that you can't ride next to each other or get within 100 feet of the other people in your group, so you are out there riding alone - you can see the others in your group but no interaction. The lifeguards basically played "not it" to see who had to go out on the water with us and their attitudes showed that they did not want to be out there on one of the rougher and colder days. It was extremely rough and in my opinion a novice rider had no business being on the water, but we received no warnings or advisories from the "experts". After about 10 minutes my jet ski starting making a terrible noise and wouldn't go over 8mph. I flagged down the lifeguard and he tried to change jet skis with me, in rough water with no instruction and me having no experience - he just gave me attitude. I was scared we were going to flip so I aked if I could just follow him in early. At this point I was scared and the broken jet ski was no help. It turns out a rope was got in the motor or something that was beyond my control He told me I could ride in the inlet if I wanted (which is a no wake zone). I told him no, I would just get off. He remined me that there were no refunds, the experience was so bad that was fine with me. Had the jet ski not malfunctioned I would have stayed out longer because my fiance was enjoying himself, but in the rough waters with defective equipment, I was just over it. Even though they admitted the problem with the jet ski was beyond my control, we got no compensation or even an offer to get our pictures without paying for them. Had I not been so shaken up I would have made more of an issue of it while I was there.
