This place is extremely run-down and poorly kept and definitely not worth the money. The greens on the mini-golf course have not been maintained and are torn and full of holes.
Went there on opening day and the greens were covered with rabbit poop, big piles of it. The cups were filled with leaves and sticks and it was a nightmare trying to play. When I complained some 15 year old looking kid stated that "we just opened today..." I told him it wasn’t my problem they just opened today and that maybe they should clean up the place. I asked for a manager and he said he was the manager. Got nowhere with him; not even an apology. He just gave me a coupon for a free round of golf. Apparently it was excusable to have the place in this condition or they couldn't get their lazy asses out to clean the place up before opening day.
Went there again today and lo and behold the place is still a crap-hole place. Arrived 10 minutes after they “opened” and nothing was ready. Bunch of kids running around trying to open the place up as 15 or more people waited in line. Hole #5 still not available, just a sign saying "this hole needs water to work properly and to move onto the next hole." The fountains are not working either and the pools are filled with some not so wonderful smelling water.
This place is an absolute joke and whoever owns it might want to get a handle on the operations and make some long overdue improvements to the place and get some adult supervision. Will definitely not be going back or recommending this place to anyone.
As I said don’t waste your money.
We went on a double date here and all went mini golfing, the course was fun but nothing to brag about. We did not ride the carts. In SF SD you have to take what you can get for entertainment. I am sure that we will be back.
Awesome go-karts. The karts are fast and the lines move fast as they have lots of karts. Mini-golf is also one of the best I ever done. Human Foosball is cool. Thunder Road also has batting cages and Water Wars
boring 18 holes for 7$. i was hoping for a better experience. I liked the go-carts though, they were a blast, however the mini golf could've been better. I enjoyed the experience for the one night but don't think i'll be back.
