Commander Zodiac, Hilton Head Island

I was told there were two tours--one was a one hour dolphin tour and the other a 1 and 1/2 hour tour that did dolphins but also went into the marshes, etc. I was put with a family with a 4 year old and they wanted to linger with the dolphins--I was never asked what I wanted, so we didn't really do a nature tour. That was very disappointing to me--we essentially had a 1 and 1/2 hour dolphin tour. I expressed my disappointment after the tour but they kept saying they would have to talk to the quide to see why we didn't do a nature tour. When I said what difference would it make what he said--they didn't offer anything in the way of a partial refund or discount or even an apology. I left. She did agree that the group probably dictated the trip. I think if a nature tour is what is sold, then that is what one should get. It was a very good dolphin tour--but if I had wanted to do just a dolphin tour I would have done the hour tour which is less expensive. I would not use Commander Zodiac again.

Our kids participated in the half day kid water camp 9:30- 12:00 on a Thursday. They went to Daufaski in a motor boat, sailing, crabbing, saw dolphin, scavenger hunt, games and more! This was definitely a trip favorite and for only $40! It gave dad some time to golf and mom some time at the outlet malls. Thanks Commander Zodiac for a win-win-win!

Went with two older kids and two younger kids and we all had a good time. Spent about a third of the time with the dolphins. Wasted the rest of the time on a tour of the harbour. I thought it was too expensive, $130 for a family of six.

I have been going to Hilton Head Island for about 20 years now and every year we choose Capt. Scott. He is very awesome! Does anybody know his last name so i can keep in touch with him? Thanks.

Captain Andrea was amazing! She took us out and we saw dolphins galore! It was just enough excitement for my 2 and 4 year olds. It was safe and fun and I cannot recommend the experience more. We're really looking forward to returning!

We had a great time on the Zodiac. After being picked up we saw dolphins and went to a sand bar to get seashells and sand dollars. Our guide was great and we will definately go on a Zodiac tour every time we are in Hilton Head. It was so much nicer being on a private boat than on a large cruise with 50 other people.

Guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We saw lots of dolphins, jellyfish (up close), crabs, birds, and more. We stood on an oyster shell bar. The kids (3 and 4) were very comfortable on the boat and had a great time. We would definitely go again.

We have vacationed on Hilton Head for many years and of course had another great experience with Commander Zodiac. We highly recommend this type of close water cruise to everyone. You definitely get your monies worth. Our Captain, Andrea, is experienced and highly recommended. She is the "Bomb". Thanks Andrea, see you next year. John, Terri, Emily & Zach.

Captain Abby gave us a great tour. We saw tons of dolphins up close, even jumping up out of the water. Hold on tight in the raft.

We saw several dolphin, and our boat was bumped by a bull shark, how cool was that! A must do!
