Willamette Jetboat Excursions
Willamette Jet boat Excursions is an exciting journey that takes you up and down the Willamette River for a two-hour, 37-mile boat ride. You will not have the usual slow rolling tour, this boat is fast and you do end up covering quite a bit of the river. Comfortable seats and a smooth ride make it fun. Some sights are incredible, like the plunging falls where the upper Willamette meets the lower part of the river.
The most fun thing I have done in Portland!, Be prepared to get drenched not just wet, took some spare clothes so it was fine, would do it again. Not for young kids under 6, might be too scary. The guide gave us a thrill ride and lots of interesting local stuff was pointed out, places you can't see from the freeway etc. Can't wait to go back.
We had a lot of fun and thrills on this outing. Boat operator and guide was very informative and had just right mixture of history and 360 wet turns. Loved it and would highly recommend. I don't think it is suitable for children under five. We had some on our tour and they were frightened. You will get wet but that was part of the fun!
Thrills without the spills. Saw a lot of places along the Willamette that we would not have seen from the road. The operator had a sense of humour and passed on interesting facts and information. We got wet, laughed a lot and enjoyed our 2 hours. Will share this adventure in Australia when we go home.
I have lived in Portland for four years now, and had never been on the jet boats. My dad came into town, and we decided to go to see what it was like. I was amazed at what a different view of the city I got from the boat, and it was a lot of fun when they spun around and sprayed the passengers. It is a little pricey, but I think it's worth it if you can afford it.

shopping stores of downtown. Don't be surprised to find a funky staff at the reception and graffiti on the ...
Completed in 1925, the narrow, two lane bridge is often the last chance to cross the river as you move
south out of Portland. While in need of upgrade, the rickety old bridge is supposedly the most used two ...
Finished in 1926, this double leaf, drawspan bridge replaced another bridge that was originally built in 1894. The grand piers
sit on timber pilings and are topped with turrets for the bridge operator to see up and down the ...
