The pricing is good for a reason. The blue jackets are in fact one of the worst teams in the league. They have yet to have a winning season in 8 plus seasons... their entire existance.
it is great for a cheap event for the kids.
I've been a hockey fan since I was a kid, and Nationwide Arena is a great place to watch the Jackets play (and they look to be fairly good this season..thus far). There is not a bad seat in the arena and tickets can be bought for $15-20. Yeah, the food is pricey but it's an arena, and for an arena it's actually pretty good stuff. The ice cream and chocolates are yummy and you can get personal-sized Donator's pizzas for $4, which is what you'd pay "outside" anyway. A lot of fun if you have kids. Just remember to dress warm because it's cold in there. Beautiful arena and a lot of fun!
The Bluejacket's bring the NHL and all it's greatness to Columbus! The team is still fighting well through their rookie years in one of the toughest divisions in the NHL. Fighting for status with two original six teams, Chicago and Detroit will only help them bring a championship to Columbus with this type of competition!
If you never liked hockey and only have seen it on TV, come see it live and you'll be hooked for life!
Although a little on the expensive side for college students, the Columbus Bluejackets have one on the best arena/stadium experiences in professional sports. Located in Nationwide Arena in the Arena District of Columbus, the Jackets offer a great taste of Downtown Columbus. The area, completely renovated into a 21st century feel, offers not just hockey but a terrific night life with many new restaurants and bars in the area.
The Bluejackets have some of the most talented young players in the league. Now if they would stop getting injured we could start winning some games. I love Nationwide Arena, and the Arena District, and I love the Bluejackets!
The arena district rocks. Food music fun and our team the blue jackets. seats are great everywhere inside and the action on the ice is outstanding atmosphere is great all the fans enjoy this and back the jackets. well worth the trip from anywhere. i am absolutly going back
