Palm Restaurant, Charlotte

The sour apple martini is hard to beat. The filet melts in your mouth. The waiters and manager make you feel like royalty. By far, the Palm is my favorite place to dine in Charlotte.

My husband and I went to the Palm for dinner. The experience didn't start well, as we sat there for more than several minutes after being seated without anyone approaching the table. If I wasn't about to spend $125.00 for dinner, this would not be a problem, but what are you paying for if not the service and the ambience? The meal of prime rib arrived after a lengthy wait, and it was cold. When I finally was approached by the manager to see if everything was ok, I told him my food was cold. He said they could warm it up under the broiler. What?! It's a $40 prime rib - bring another one! But that did not happen, and I was completely turned off to ever going back there again, and will stick with Morton's in South Park.

A bit pricey ..... but always quality food and service. I've visited this restaurant over 60 times. Very nice and consistant. They have valet parking and a cigar bar.
