Description

Bouchon is located in the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, Venezia Tower. Renowned designer Adam D. Tihany has masterfully created a beautiful interior that features a magnificent French pewter bar, a vibrant mosaic floor, deep blue velvet banquettes, antique light fixtures and an expansive hand-painted mural by noted French artist Paulin Paris. The exquisite decor is the perfect setting for Bouchon's culinary delights. Chef Cerciello rediscovers the classics, using historical reference points and classic French techniques, combined with a modern approach. The menu offers classic bistro dishes including steak frites, roasted chicken, quiche, brandade, boudin noir, pot de creme and profiteroles. The selection of fruits de mer is celebrated as one of the finest in Las Vegas. The seasonal menu changes throughout the year and is enhanced by a blackboard menu featuring the best products available each day. Flawlessly executed in every aspect, Bouchon delights both the palate and the eye.

Great Experience! First time in Vegas, and some friends and I decided to dress up and go out for the evening. Being a long-time fan of Thomas Keller, and a chef myself, Bouchon was a natural choice. Friendly, helpful service at the desk, great classic French bistro/brasserie menu, and priced well. I've seen reviews on here calling Bouchon expensive...ridiculous. It's about value for money. Sure, there are places in Vegas where you can help your self to slabs of factory-farmed irradiated 'beef' with a side of freezer-to-fryer potatoes for $5.99 and say you've had dinner, but $29.50 for the most delicious roast chicken you've ever had, raised for Chef Keller in the the Napa Valley, with wonderful, well-balanced and thoughtful garnishes is a bloody bargain. At Bouchon, you're actually getting the quality other similarly-priced restaurants are fooling you into thinking you're getting. Roast chicken was phenomenal, brined 24 hours and roasted to perfection. Herbed quenelles a great addition to the dish. Frisee salad with poached egg and lardons was perfect, as was the classic onion soup. Gnocchi was delicious, so fresh. Pork chop was a monster, perfectly roasted and served with a tasty shallot jus and poached pear. Moules-Frites perfectly executed...some of the best fries I've ever tasted. Brandade was also delicious, well-balanced flavour in a preparation that's often served too salty. Some have complained about the lack of bread plates....I liked it. We divided the crusty, fresh epi amongst ourselves, and a thoughtful waiter came after and crumbed the table for us. Some on here have complained that it was 'too fancy' or even 'too French'! It's a FRENCH RESTAURANT. What do you expect to find there? Bouchon is an island of authenticity, charm and distinction amidst a sea of fakery and insincerity. The room is beautiful, the service terrific, and the food honestly delicious. For what amounts to just a few dollars more than some places on the strip (and far less than others), you'll have a truly memorable meal. Would visit again at any opportunity.

My breakfast was underwhelming. It was expensive and bland. I'm in no hurry to return.

The entrees were amazing, Gnocchi was ridiculously rich and pan fried, steak was delcious. Scallop appetizer was very fresh but the citrus poaching lacked flavor. Hostess nor waitress could pronouce my fairly common french last name correctly and the waitress could not pronounce the menu items correctly (all in french)

Tables were covered with thick white paper. Bread was served directly onto the paper cover. Hope it was replaced after previous customers. You can get the same quality of paper cover at the Macaroni Grill. At least there they write on it so you know you got a new cover. No bread plates, you had to keep putting your bread onto the table cover. The bread was a fancy woven design so had lots of crust and not much bread inside. If you want salt or pepper you have to ask for it, no shakers on the table. The waiter comes over and grinds the salt like they do pepper. Guess it is unacceptable to salt and pepper your own food. Fish served with the head on. French style? My wife thought the menu was rather limited and really did not find anything she liked. My daughter did not like it at all as it did not come across as a "fancy" restaurant. She had steak and just barely was I able to stop her from asking for A-1 Sauce. She thought the steak was dry. The sound was pretty bad as there is little if any thought to sound control. Voices echo off the walls and if you want you can eavesdrop on conversations across the room. Unless you are really into "authentic" French food, I would not recommend this place. * Pros: Reasonable price * Cons: Crude and loud.

chicken and waffles

Gotta do brunch here - the chicken and waffles are awesome. I think I order them every time we eat here. The pastries are top notch as well. Don't miss out on the beignets with Nutella.

Really has slipped quite a bit. Still has the best bread. Fish was cold and tough and service was painfully slow. I would go just for the bread and the salmon spread, but would be reluctant to return for a meal.

I'll demur from the worship. Excellent bartender and bread, but $28 for mussels without a whiff of saffron? Quarts of butter on dishes please crowds but do not make for superior cooking. Everything was over-salted. Maybe the brunch is better.

Our party of 3 were seated as scheduled, and we were treated to a meal that I would consider a couple of points higher than the '25' it received. Service was spot on, not overbearing but attentive. The best bread ever, and while my lamb was very good, the steak frites and boudin noir were out of this world. Especially at the price, this might be a top 5 bargain in Vegas.
