Located in a old warehouse that has been lavisly revamped into a huge Spanish style hacienda. The ceilings are lofty and adorned with voluptious Spanish chandeliers. The first floor has several half moon low back plushy seatings, graciously inspired by a Mediterranean flare. This place is creatively pleasing to the eyes in more way than you can immagine. Well how so? Well, this is where Baltimore good looking list frequent to quench their thirst, savoring those perfectly concocted coktails that will land you straight on the floor. Professionals from around the city tend to gravitate to the allure and sexiness of Pazo. The bar offers some of the largest most thought out cocktail list in the city, with a tad of appeal for just about anyone. The bartenders aim to please and will mix whatever concoction your mind might immagine. It is unreservedly exciting to be in a well conceived atmosphere that serves to an unambigious duality, and that is to serve some phenomenal Mediterranean/ Spanish Fare and attrack the sexiest in the city to hop to some beat thumping music on the weekends. My last visit's experience was superb! I must point out the lighly battered eggplant (and I am not an eggplant person lover, whatsoever), deliciously crispy on the outside and a pleasantly surpprising soft inside, the eggplant practicaly melts aways in your mouth giving your taste buds an orgasmic experience ( I am talking about eggplant!). Next is the ceviche with Jicama wich is just formidable, deliciously sinful. I have had plenty ceviche in my lifetime and this one tops them all. It is just so light and summery. Generally speaking ceviche tends to be overly lemony, this one as is paired with the Jicama escapes such fault. The wood grilled lamb chop I must admit is a big tease, melts in your mouth and leaves you high and dry wishing for more. To top my experience is most definitively the best dish I had that night and that is the lamb sausage ravioli, perfectly lightly cooked and sprinkled with a delicious light sauce. Overall the food here at Pazo is confortably Mediterranean with meticulous thought to detail in every aspect, from techniche to presentation. It leaves you desiring for more or to try more, but essentially satisfying the most complex Mediterranean palates out there.

I LOVE Pazo. I lived in Bmore for 4 years and discovered the greatness of this place. I've since moved to Northern VA, but my fiance and I still occasionally drive back just to go to Pazo. I love the ambiance of the place. Fun music in the background, quick service, great wine selection... The food choices are different than any place I've ever eaten, but everything I've had I loved. The busiest time is obvsiously Saturday night. We've had reservations at 5:30 on a Sunday and were one of 3 couples in there. Valet is free, as long as you're eating there. It's easy to go here and easily drop $200 or more. Take a group; it's more fun!

Its been 2 years since I stepped into Pazo. From what I remembered the tappas were great, decor impressive, and service spectacular. Last night I had an opportunity to stop back in. While the decor seemed like it hadn't changed much I still thought the place looked great. Customer service had also remained top notch though the food was far from impressive. Our first course of tappas included small, gritty scallops and bruscetta that resembled a mound of caramilized onion (shallot) with a tiny piece of goat cheese, both entrees were soaking in oil/butter (salmon & tuna), and for desert we received creme brulle covered in cold sugar as thick as a dual pane window. I was really surprised how down hill the food has gotten. The owner's attention must be totally focused on opening new restaurants and wine shops that they have forgotten the importance of the food at their existing establishments.

I enjoyed my experience at Pazo's this evening. I dined with some very special and influential people and we all enjoyed ourselves. It was very cozy but spacious at the same time. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and I will definitely go again. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing, has Zen (like)feel. And above everything the conversation was amazing, the essence of its concept.

Food is good/very good. But what stands out is the decor: The atmosphere and decor is impressive. Trendy and cozy. Dark colors with candles and a large open space with a huge wrought iron chandelier up high. It's an open 2 story old warehouse/barn. Menu is tapas style, but not Spanish tapas. The selection has a mediterranean influence, but with other varieties as well. Offering baba ghanouj, grilled steak, pizza, delicious fried potato slices, etc. Service is typically good. I have been there numerous times and one waitress was a bit iffy, but not terrible. Great place for a fun date, group of friends, etc. It's a little loud, but not too loud.

Tapas for all
By ,
Being a vegetarian I love tapas restaurants. Its really nothing but appetizers. But Pazo has changed and has a regular menu as well. Both are good- but we just ordered the meal sized dishes as large tapas. BTW- the house Mojito is refreshing and different. The venue is the foundry where the Iron for the Key Bridge (which takes the Baltimore Beltway across the Patapsco River near where it enters the Chesapeake Bay). A little load- but fun. I bring my young nephews and nieces and the staff is great to them.

Ladies Night
By ,
I love hip and trendy places, and Pazo's is just the place to see and be seen. The girls and I all ordered plethora of items that were smaller than expected and a little pricey. Although the mushrooms were tasty, the steak, and pork were succulent, the drinks were good but pricey. The three of us spent $50/person and were still hungry...ladies this is definately a place to go, just eat before you get there.
