If you want seafood, the buzz in town is Eddie V's Edgewater Grille. The Gulf Coast menu features lots of seafood - oysters, gulf snapper, fresh tuna, lobster, plus great prime steaks and chops. Was the most delicious dinner!! The food and service was EXCELLENT! I would recommend this to all who viist! Make sure you call ahead for a reservation and bring a healthy appetite! :)

Eddie V's is entirely ordinary, with perfectly acceptable seafood and steak dishes, but its food never rises above that of a steakhouse. And it's loud, very loud, especially with a live band in a very small and already noisy room.

Disappointed - recommended by Zagat and friends. Fish was soggy and cold. Crab was over cooked. Server appeared attentive but did not listen or deliver what was ordered and when.

Austin: Great bartender, terrific soft-shell crab.Fort Worth: They've got real northeast-coast oysters which are rare around these parts, where it's easier to find the prairie variety. The parmesan lemon sole and the black cod were well prepared. Terrific server. Extensive wine list. Unimpressive cocktail preparation. Inexperienced, annoying valets. Smooth decor.

Absolutely Fabulous!!! Eaten here 4 times -take guest for dinner then to Bass Hall. Server makes sure we on kept on our schedule to leave on time. Parmesan Crusted Sole, asparagus - personal favorite.Initially service was ok, but improves each time we go. Little dark, but waiter has handy flashlight if you need it:)

great bar with live jazz. good apps and though it is a seafood restaurant, there is a wide variety on the menu.

could not beleive it when the manager informed our table that they may bring us our wine after we injest some food.....Trulucks enjoyed the biz
