Sambuca, Dallas

Warning…. They charge an automatic 20% tip!!!!! I went to Sambuca tonight and in all fairness had a really lovely meal. The food was pretty good and the drinks were good a little pricey, but that is what you can expect in Uptown. However what I didn’t expect was that at the end of the meal the waitress refused to split our check and charged a 20% tip. We only had 5 people in our group. After spending 10 minutes looking over the check and dividing it up ourselves she then ran our credit cards and messed up the amounts. Once calling this to her attention she then told us she voided the original amounts and re-ran all our cards. The whole ordeal took at least 30 minutes and we left very unhappy. I can safely say we won’t be going back.

Happy hour, dinner, and a live band...yes please! I've been to Sambuca several times with a group of my girlfriends and we all had great times! I would definitely recommend the tequila bliss cocktail and the fish tacos (yum!) for happy hour (which is all half off...awesome)! I've also tried their champagne chicken and lobster enchiladas for dinner and both were great! I've heard great blues music and a 70's/80's/90's band which I LOVED! I'll definitely be back...great times!

Wonderful live band, great atmosphere, and excellent food! One of my favorite resturants to go on dates, with friends, or with my family.

I like the cusine and the ambience of the restaurant!! The live jazz bands are definitely a PLUS! This is a great place to take someone that you want to impress...

The ambiance is great for a girls night out or a date with that special someone. The food is beyond wonderful and the wine list is extensive. The live jazz is great & the staff is superb. I will continue to go there - even if it's just an evening out for myself. They truly pamper & cater to you!!!
