Fogo De Chao
We are an authentic Churrascaria (Brazilian Steakhouse) from Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil which features superior service, unrivaled cuisine and a unique dining experience. You will be pampered by our authentic Gaucho chefs who come to your tableside to carve a variety of succulent meats right off their skewers. Our featured meats have been slow-roasted over an open flame and lightly seasoned to preserve the unique taste of each tender cut. Adding to our unique dining experience, you will be treated to a sumptuous, gourmet salad and vegetable bar featuring over 30 items including imported cheeses, cured meats, fresh vegetables and more. We complement your meal with traditional Brazilian side dishes such as caramelized bananas, crispy polenta, seasoned mashed potatoes and our world-famous cheese bread (pao de queijo). No meal is complete without trying a refreshing caipirinha, something from our award-winning wine list or one of our decadent desserts.
All right..good news first...the food is superb, meats are out of this world., and you can really pig out....even the complimentary bread, the mashed potatoes and the fried banannas are first class..but come on, with tip and tax you will spend 70.00 per head, add another 15-20 dollars if you want to consume alcohol.....makes you wonder why the owners of this joint are so greedy.....plus you pay for mandatory valet parking....if you want to eat just a salad, it will cost you 30.00 (all inclusive).....bottom line, NOT WORTH IT....save money, go to a great steak place. If the owners are reading this, ... let us have the courtesy of letting us take a doggie bag comprising of the un- eaten food....after all, we spent over 70.00 per head and we paid for the food....this is absolute stupidity on your part......we will never go back
Our company celebrated Chrismas Party at Fogo De Chao and according to the whole group it was AMAZING..... we love the SERVICE and the food was GREAT! and we are requesting the same place for the next x-mas party. BY the way is not romantic but who cares your with a bunch of co-workers that want to have eat, drink and have fun, not the smush stuff...........
The food was pretty good but not the best version of this type of food I have had. The atmosphere was poor with a large open space and no music. Not a romanitc restaurant. But fun for a different type of experience.
The cuts of meat are grilled perfectly and have amazing flavour. The salad bar is fresh and diverse, traditional salads as well as grilled veggies and other appetizing delights. The guys with the skewers keep on coming with different cuts of meat its hard to keep up at times. Wine and desert really drive the prices up but the xperience leaves no doubt you had a great meal. If you want a better deal, go for lunch $38 per person. Dinner is closer to $50. Dress on the dressier side of casual. Expect to pay for mandatory valet unless you want street parking. I'd go back. Perfect for Valentine date.
I realize this is Beverly Hills (adjacent) so the prices are high and the concept of the place is to overwhelm the customers with so much meat that they wont notice that its as tough as boot leather. Quantity over quality aside, the biggest gripe i have with this place is lousy service. We had two people celebrating their birthdays in our party. After we had all ordered and consumed our desserts and coffee they brought two additional desserts for the two birthday celebrants. Naturally we could not consume these after the meat-fest and desserts we had actually ordered. The shocking part was when they tried to charge us for the birthday desserts which we did not order and could not consume. Folks, if you want a great steak and save a little money head on over to almost any steakhouse.
