Koko Sushi Bar & Lounge, Green Bay

Awesome food, good service, a little slow when busy, and a little pricier but not too bad. Great atmosphere.

Great food but they've always had horrid horrid horrid customer service. I thought that when they moved to the bigger location downtown the service would be much better and quicker. I've been to Koko's 8+ times hoping everytime it would improve but only got worse. My last straw was when our party had to go to the bar to serve ourselves refills and it took us 3+ hrs from when we walked out to when we left. I was so happy when Phin opened. Phin and Koko's sushi are equal in quality but Phin's customer service was excellent. I do not plan on ever being a Koko's customer again.

The decor is refreshingly modern and the food is tasty, especially the spicy thai shrimp soup and the specialty sushi rolls. I enjoy going here with a group of sushi lovers so that we can sample all of the unique sushi creations. Unfortunately, we cannot dine here as often as we would like because there are few options for our friends who are less enthusiastic about sushi.

great rolls - great atmosphere - great service!

Went to Koko's on a Saturday night and waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food. Finally after the waitress told us our order would be up soon three times we had enough and told her we would just pay for our drinks and we were going to leave. She told us this length of wait is normal and the host should of let us know. We finally got our food, which I thought was pretty tasty, but a little pricey. Good food if you have the whole night to waste waiting to get it.

I thoroughly enjoy KoKo and all it has to offer. The atmosphere is very modern and happy. The wine and drink selection is fantastic. The waiters and bar staff is so helpful and nice. The menu offers much more than just sushi! On many occasions I have brought sushi newbies here to introduce them to the world of deliciousness they have been missing. All the reactions have been incredibly positive, and they are all now returning customers! My favorite meals often involve the spicy shrimp thai soup, the godzilla roll, and beef sashimi!

I've read all the reviews, the good and the bad, and feel they're all valid. When it comes to the cooked maki rolls, Koko's is outstanding. There's variety and great creativity as far as flavor, texture and the bold and unusual combination of ingredients go. And its quality has always been consistent. The Godzilla roll is to die for. If you want good nigiri sushi or sashimi, Koko's ain't the place for you. We're not even talking about the seafood being close to sushi grade...it's BAD. To be fair, I've only ordered sashimi and sushi (salmon, yellowtail and tuna) there once but it was one time too many for me. Maybe I went on an off day (pardon the pun) but it was enough to stop me from ever eating raw stuff at Koko's. Little Tokyo and Nakashima are the only places in town that I dare order sushi from. And I know good sushi/sashimi. I've eaten my fair share in Tokyo, Singapore and HongKong.

Koko's is wonderful, I don't know what is wrong w/ the others that have written in reviews but prehaps they have more of a taste for Macdonalds than Sushi and fine dining. Koko' head chef is entertaining and talented w/ his preparations and varied menu and freshed of sushi. The decor is relaxing and colors pleasant . The only thing I would like to see is the owner make more of an attempt to visit the diners and see how the experience has been.
