Gingerootz Asian Grille, Appleton

My grade for poor service is not due to the wait staff, they were always excellent. We went there to eat on July 3rd and were told as we entered that there was a $10 parking charge exclusively for that day so that people going to the fireworks didn't take up a space for diners. Since we were dining we just drove in and parked, the person watching the parking lot actually followed us into the restaurant to tell us that we had to pay for parking to assure that we were actually eating there and that they would refund the parking fee. Since we were already in the restaurant and about to sit down to eat it seemed ridiculous to me that I should pay a parking fee only to then have it refunded back after I ate. I stated my feelings on this but apparently they were so adamant about this policy (maybe they felt we would go so far as to sit down at the table and my wife and I would then sneak out the bathroom window) that they were willing to let a frequent diner walk out even though they recognized us from previous visits. Unbelievable, needless to say we will never dine there again.Update: 12/8/2112 -- Just wanted to let the owners know that we have not returned since the July 2112 incident and have made our thoughts clear to all of our friends who have since dined with us at other excellent establishments in the Appleton area.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with OUTSTANDING service which continued throughout our dinner. I had never been there before and didn't know what to expect. The food was phenomenal as well! I will definitely recommend Gingerootz and hope to go there again!! : )

Gingerootz has to be one of my favorite restaurants EVER. My boyfriend and I love going there, and the crab rangoons are seriously to die for. The interior is beautiful and great service compliments the experience as well. I suggest this restaurant to all of my friends and family, and everyone has loved it just as much as I do. Everyone seriously has to try it, and it really isn't expensive considering the amazing food and service you receive.

I found this place to be most intimate, casual and worth a visit! I was provided a Gluten Free menu and the food was most assuredly well prepared and delicious. The bathroom are clean, the atmosphere inviting. One can dine for lunch with smaller lunch specials and portions. Check out their website and find out a little more.

Great food, service and presentation. You can feel confident taking business clients to GingeRootz. A private dining area is available for larger groups, and lunch can be under 30 minutes.

I have been going to Gingerootz now for over a year and have yet to be disappointed. I have brought countless friends and family who feel the same enthusiasm I do for Gingerootz - you just can not go wrong. The service is exceptional and I feel safe ordering ANYTHING on the menu because it is just THAT good!! This is my favorite restaurant in Appleton.

A good date place. The atmosphere and the wait staff was great, but the food was nothing special.

I've only ordered out lunch from here, but it has been terrific every time! And picking it up, the interior is gogeous!
