Built for the 1962 World Expo, Space Needle distinctive structure, rising 600-plus feet above Seattle Center , has since become Seattle's most famous landmark. Come take in the 360-degree view of mountains, Elliott Bay and Seattle neighborhoods. Stock up on Seattle souvenirs at the ground level gift shop, Space Base. Dine at the SkyCity rotating restaurant, where every seat has a view. Then continue upward to the observation deck at the spectacular height of the Needle to experience the Sky Q. The hi-tech Sky Q encompasses several impressive kiosks outfitted with high-definition cameras and screens.
I had family come into town and we ate lunch at Sky City before going to Pikes Place. We were all very happy with our meals, the taste was amazing. We had wonderful service. I would go back any time, with any one. Try it for sure.
Visited Seattle Center this past weekend and it was so serene. Lots of families and couples eating ice cream and riding the different rides. I was there with my son and we just had a calm, good time. For a quick stress reliever with the family nothing beats Seattle Center.
Eating at Sky City is quite an experience. I especially love going for brunch on the weekend. For $45 you get a complete meal. The food is pretty good. They have the best Caesar Salad I've ever tasted. The service is pretty good, though the waiters tend to be a little bit snooty. The best part of the experience is the view. The restaurant revolves, so you get to see the entire Puget Sound within an hour. It's definitely a fun place to go.
my boyfriend took me here for dinner on our six month anniversary. it is the most beautiful place in seattle. you get to go up in the elevator and wait on the observation desk and look around and take pictures until your table is ready. we had reservations for 7:30pm just in time to be seated and order our food and watch the amazing sunset. the food was excellent. we had filet mignon and lobster. spendy but worth it. even though it was crowded in there i felt like it was just me and my boyfriend. later that night he became my fiance! this was just a perfect meal and a perfect night.
My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Seattle with a beautiful view of the Space Needle. While we were there we decided to dine at Sky City located at the top of the Space Needle. While we were there we both had wonderful meals which included a duck dinner. We also had desserts. The service was wonderful and while we ate we were able to view the entire city by sunset. It took the resteraunt about one hour to fully rotate. We did not purchase any alcohol. Our bill came out to over 100 dollars. All in all, it was a pleasurable and memorible treat for us.
