I was honored to help Rocky Creek BarBQue serve a catered meal to the production set of a documentary yet to be released called Pale Horse. It was filmed at the Alamo movie (2004) set at Reimers Ranch last Saturday. We took several pics of the event, as it was definitely a highlight for Rocky Creek's business, Needless to say, all who partook of the fabulous meal were impressed!

I used to work at Rocky Creek. The owners are my best friends parents and they know how to cook barbeque. It is without a doubt the best barbeque place in Austin. I highly recommend it to anyone. You will soon become addicted to the food and it will keep you coming back. Also make sure you talk to Mike Emmert, the owner. He is one of the funniest people I know.

We live just a mile down the road from this place and it is fabulous. The sides are delicious and the barbecue fresh and tasty. Very down-home. Just a guy cooking out of a trailer. They are only open Thurs-Sun, though. Check them out!
