I grew up in brooklyn and this is the best pizza in memphis.they got this other little spot in hornlake ms called milanos ny pizza and theyre great too..i worked as a pizza man for several new york pizza joints for a number of years and little italy is spot on.. and if anyone says any different theyre frkin nuts!!
Yuck, This was the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was soggy, the toppings were scarce and the flavor was so bad I couldnt even eat 1 piece. It had a funny taste like maybe some or all of it had been frozen too long. I will say the delivery was pretty quick and the delivery guy was nice, so at least they have that going for them. Not having an accurate menu on line is a real issue too.
I LOVE pizza and am VERY picky about the pizza places that I go to. Since moving downtown Memphis Little Italy is my go to pizza joint. They have a thin NY style pizza that is excellent. My other favorite pizza place in the area is Pepperoni's in Southaven. If you like Little Italy you will love Pepperoni's! Yummy
Memphis has two great pizza places: Little Italy and Memphis Pizza Cafe. If you are looking for great NY style pizza, it has to be Little Italy. Little Italy's pizza tastes better than MPC, but MPC has a more eclectic selection and is a larger restaurant. Other than the selection and size, Little Italy is the place to go.
As a transplanted northerner, Little Italy is a taste of home, and arguably the best pizza I have ever had.
Littly Italy was prettily bittily boo, if you know what I mean. Whew I am absolutely flabberghasted at my reaction to this place. It's as if I took a trip to this destination on a mode of transportation and there are just a lot of things flying around, maybe even some monkeys, I mean do you feel me on that one? Well, if you haven't caught my drift, you might be barking up the wrong tree, but it does take one to know one. Do it!!!!
one of the few things that sucks about moving to Tipton County is that I am further away from Little Italy. Killer pizza...hot or cold. Someone open a Little Italy out here in T County. I'll be yer best friend.
So I was just told the deep dish (that used to be awesome) is no longer available. So I retract my earlier comment about the wonderful deep dish as it no longer exists. Also did anyone ever order one of their homemade pies? It sounded delicious but you had to order one day in advance? Seriously a day in advance? Yes a day in advance. I think that too has been discontinued.
