Fresh Slice's Sidewalk Cafe, Memphis

Now i can see why Logan s had a one-hour wait on a Saturday night, while this place had immediate seating. The owners of this place clearly need to fire some people. Since they won t do this, we instead will have to fire the owners. I went there last night with a party of five, 02/09/13. I made the fatal mistake of asking what the so-called, loaded salad was composed of. The waitress couldn t tell me, so I just said, Give me the full salad, Thousand Island dressing, bacon bits, hold the cheese. My punishment for asking a question she couldn t answer was that I got no salad while the rest of my party got served. 8 minutes later, still no salad, while nearby tables were getting theirs. I realized our whole table was the target when my wife asked for additional Ranch. The waitress turned away and walked off. No ranch for my wife, no salad for me. My adult son, who recommended the place, said his salad sucked anyway. That s all I needed to know. We got up and left. No, I didn t pay for the salad or the soft drinks. If they d asked me to, I would have turned and walked away like my waitress did to my wife. I urge you to NOT eat there. Send these clowns into bankruptcy. How dare this bum waitress try to ruin my party. We crossed the street, and had some great Chinese, and awesome sushi, at Grand Pacific instead. I repeat ... do NOT EAT at Fresh Slices. Let their owners go into Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

I used to live in that neighborhood, and it had change some, but the fun is till there. The Sidwalk Cafe was wonderful. We had great service, and the grilled salmon on chibatta with tobasco remoulade and a fried green tomato was out of this world. Some of the best food on a long vacation. Saw lots of other yummy items, good enough reason to return to my favorite city. And the fried cheesecake was out of this world. Enough for three sated ladies. Super food and fine service.

I love this place. The food is very good and the service has been wonderful to me. Their cakes are excellent!, I just wish they would make more carmel cakes.... yummy

the food was great, however the service was beyond description. We were there for 2 hours on a night that wasn't busy and at many times during the evening we couldn't even get our waiter to acknowledge us. We didn't even get our order taken until we had been there for 20 minutes. After about an hour someone else took over our table for a while and the service got some better then. I will try again because the food was good, but definitely not at lunch or when I have other plans. Luckily we didn't have to be anywhere else so it was not as stressful as it could have been.

lunch once a week and i still find something new to eat everytime. my best friend and i always try to bring a new friend along for our adventure. great wine selection. get there early or late lunch to beat the crowd. service is a relax and sit back this can take awhile attitude. fun shopping next door when you are finsihed eating and a walk to the zoo on tuesdays. zoo is free. just can not beat the great days we have spent at fresh slices.

The food is great!! the place is cute..But the mgmnt is HORRIBLE...I heard they have a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER working there at the cordova location. His name is Fred Ray Easter & he is on Tennesse Sex offender registry...

I went to Bartlett location yesterday. The food was delicious, the service was great, the atmosphere was pleasant. I can't stop raving about it! It is so nice to have a place right around the corner from my office that is SO VERY NOT FAST FOOD.... can't wait to go back... :)

One of Memphis best keep secrets. The food is great along with the prices. The atmosphere is quite and most enjoyable. What makes this place so great is it's location. Hat's off to Ike, keep up the great work. If any of you live in Cordova visit the new location on Macon Rd.

I work in a doctors office and last week one of our reps brought fresh slices to the office for lunch. Let me tell you it was a breath taking treat. The salad was good and so were the other menu items. My co-workers liked it so much that they went back on there own the following week.... Also, we are having lunch catered Monday and guess where the food is coming from, you got it Fresh Slices... keep up the good work......
