Dissapointing. Possibly the main chef was off for the night? The caesar salad was watery and the veal saltimbuca was tough. I've never had it prepared that way (with tomatoes) and would not recommend it. The wine list did not display the vintage however we enjoyed a great bottle of 06 Stag's Leap Cab.

Great authentic food. A really great place to eat. One of Providence's best restaurants. Highly recommended. A great menu, and great service from the staff.

Siena has several "Best Italian" "Best Restaurant" in RI Monthly and it lives up to the name. Great food, great service - the decor was modern and pleasant. However, if you are looking for a quiet romantic place, this is not it. The mood is loud and conversation is sometimes hard due to the background music and conversations from others.

My wife and I's absolute favorite Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the food to die for. Filet Minion melts in your mouth. Start off with the grilled pizza as an appetizer. You won't be disappointed!

Very good

This is a lovely restaurant. They have authentic Tucson Cuisine. The atmosphere is perfect for a cozy dinner. They offer entrees from Pizza to Veal. There are 2 Siena's in Ri. I went to the one in Warwick. They have a late night Menu and Valet parking. Highly recommended.

We are New Yorkers and were in town for the Ironman 70.3 and stumbled upon this gem! The wine list, food and service were all superb! We had a delicious Amarone and all four of us loved what we ordered. The Pasta e Fagioli I had as an appetizer could be better than my mom's (hope she doesn't read this review). FIVE STARS FROM ME!

The best place in Providence for Italian. The place is always crowd and has terrific food. The service is very good and the owners/managers are always around. I love the Sea Bass and Veal Dishes and the wood-grilled pizzas are great! Over all, the place is very warm!!

The Best on Federal Hill

Since leaving Siena - I have craved the food and the atmosphere. Nothing compares to this restaurant. The food was superb. The service was professional. The variety on the menu was great. I recommend one of the many wood-fired pizza’s for an appetizer and the Bread Pudding for dessert. If you want a great experience and great food Siena is for you.

Fantastic New Year's Eve Dinner!

We dined at Siena for New Year's Eve and it was wonderful. The owners, Chris and Anthony couldn't have been nicer. The food was exquisite, the attention to detail perfect. Our waiter, Dennis, had great recommendations for wine, was attentive without being obsequious, and although it was busy, we were not rushed, or ignored. Brittany, the hostess, was very accomodating and friendly. What a way to bring in 2006. We highly recommend it--awesome!!!
