This is a Philly sports fan must. If you have not watched your favorite sports team play here you have not watched them play at all. Enjoy the incredible seafood or chicken parm, with a side order of Crab fries and a tower of Beer. This is the absolute best sports bar in the nation.
I go there about once a week. Never had bad service or a bad meal there yet. Could come down in price a little for the seafood. Other than that, the beer is always cold, the waitresses are cute and always smiling and I never leave there hungry.
Chickie's and Pete's is a great place to go with a bunch of friends or just by yourself to sit and have a cocktail. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming and there is always a lot of opportunity for people watching. The service is also great, especially the three bartenders at the main bar on saturday nights. All three are amazing. They are friendly, fast and very accommodating. I highly recommend Chickie's and Pete's if you want really good food, great service and a good time. Oh and this is a sports' fan's dream with all of the TVs showing the various sporting events.
I like Chickie's, the food is a little pricey, but that's pretty much a given in the city. I enjoy their mussels, Dungeness Crabs and pizzas, Bartenders are good but the waitstaff could improve. The crabfries, eh...basically fries in Old Bay seasoning.
The Mussels in Red Sauce are the cheapest great meal I've ever had. $9 is enough for a meal for two. Don't forget the Crab Fries which are excellent and if you're in the mood for a nice buzz grab a unique beer tower. Soooo much fun!
I had a good time here with my brother and friend. I love the hot women who work there. I also like that it's a big place with plenty of beer specials. The crab fries were awesome...well-seasoned. All in all, this place is decent.
Chickies & Petes probably had the best seafood i have ever eaten. Thier Crab Fries are to die for! Whenever i have someone from out of town, i take them there for some good food, in an interesting ambiance. It looks and feels like a local sports bar, but add in the food, and you will never think of it the same. I go every year for Fathers Day. We always have a great time!
Local restaurant legend and for good reason-go here for the games or try the stands at the Phillies stadium. The crab fries seem to be everyone's favorite! While here try the crab legs-they're delicious and a great value. This is definately a must-see if visiting Philly.
TERRIBLE. Over priced and the worst food EVER!!!
Had a hot wing chicken sandwich that was TERRIBLE. The roll was cold and hard (not stale just hard). No side comes with this sandwich and the food server told me that an order of fries was large since I was alone I saved my money and did not order fries. Thank goodness I did not waste my money.
NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD.
