Dutch Treat Restaurant, Spartansburg

We have been visiting Dutch Treat for breakfast for 10 years. Their food was always great, their service excellent. We moved away in 2004 and apparently they had a change of ownership. When we went a few weeks ago, the service was ATROCIOUS. They changed a ton of the menu items and when we told them that the item was not how we were using to getting it, they were rude and argued with us. We will NEVER return to this restaurant and would urge others to not visit either.

The best of pies and the salad bar is wonderfully filled with a variety of foods and the baked beans in the salad bar is worth the trip alone!! When they say all the fish you can eat-that is the truth! You get as much as you can consume!! It is hard to select from the menu because everything is so tasteful. For lunch, I would recommend trying one of their juicy burgers. Delicious!! The never empty cup of coffee goes well with desert to end your meal; that is if you still have room for it. Maybe come back sometime just for the pie and coffee!!

We stopped to eat dinner at the dutch treat in Spartansburg PA, The food was good, not fantastic, we really had no complaint about it or the service both where ok, our one complaint was going to pay the bill it came out to be an arm and a leg more than we had! they are expensive!

Dutch Treat serves excellent Amish food in a nice, pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and the bakery is a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. All their pies and other desserts are excellent.
