I went at the begining of happy hour. They had no dim sum except deserts. So I had to order my own dim sum for full price. Even when I came during happy hour and there is dim sum, it's really cold. The service isn't that great I had to ask for a menu and ask when to order, ask for the dim sum cart, ask to refill my water, and ask for the check. It was very annoying. They know very limited english so it's hard to communicate and ask what's in the foreign food I'm not use to.
IT HAS THE WORST SERVICE EVER! THE CHINESE PEOPLE THERE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECTFUL, THE SERVICE TAKES FOREVER! THE CHINSES LADY IS ALWAYS YELLING AND TALKING AND ITS JUST NOT RIGHT, AND ITS ALSO EXPENSIVE FOR FOOD THATS NOT EVEN THAT GREAT.
I heard good things about the half price dim sum here because it's so cheap. My daughter and I drove from Newberg and hung out in Beaverton all day just so we could go there at 3pm. We were starving and got there at 2:50pm. We sat down and waited awhile til we got our water and tea. We ordered a few dim sum plates and the waitress realized she never wrote down our orders on the ticket. She runs to get the ticket and writes at the top 2:55. I asked about the half price and she said I have to come in at 3pm to get 50% off! We had already eaten 3 plates of dim sum and were ordering more. I told the waitress we waited all day for lunch and we thought it would be 50% off since we were so close to 3pm. She said no and argued with me. I told her never mind on our order and paid and left. We paid $12 for 3 plates of dimsum. I could have gone to the chinese buffet in beaverton for less than that price and nicer service!
Poor service in this place...The 3-5pm 50% off Dim Sum special was great until the special now is only for whatever is left in the steam cart that is discounted, which is not much left from lunch time. if you order any dim sum other than the left overs from cart it'll be regular price, still a good deal but 50% off that was a steal. it used to be when we could order any dim sum dish other than what's left in cart. Before they'd make a new batch of dim sum and get it at a discount...ahhh way back when...those were the good ol days...
My wife and I had lunch there at 3pm and we were the only ones there. one waitress was having lunch and the other waitress seated us. the bus boy brought out the tea and water but no menus. the waitress that seated us join her co-worker for lunch. it took the waitress awhile to figure out we didn't have menus at our table. I called to her and asked for menus, she yells out in chinese to the bus boy to bring out the menus (my wife is chinese by the way) while she sits there chatting away picking at her co-workers lunch...mind you we are the only customers in the restaurant. So I told my wife to leave and by the time we were off our seat that same waitress finally gets our menus and asks where we were going? So I gave her a piece of my mind...I asked for a manager, of course they weren't there. never again will I eat at this place. it used to be a good place to eat when it first opened but went down hill in the last few months since business was sold.
