I just ordered an early carryout dinner from the Sahara Grille and it was perfect. I love getting the pitas in the bag. I always have extra so I use it for other things over the next few days. I had fattoush salad with grilled chicken. My other favorite is the grecian salad with grilled chicken on top. Yum
We heard so many great things about the restaurant, we decided to go to their lunch buffet.
We were very very dissappointed. The only Mediterannean portion of the buffet included hummus, babaganoush, pita, and rice. The rest was misc. The only meat on the buffet was fried chicken (the worst I have ever eaten), and meat cakes(was it meat?) The babaganoush was eggplant and mayo. The only dessert was fruit and a rice pudding dish. The service was slow (We had to move empty plates around ourselves).
The buffet was $10.95 + $4 for a kabob. We could have eaten at Golden Corral next door for cheaper and it would have been more fulfilling. Never again.
Rude owners???? I don't believe that for a moment. I have been to the Sahara Grill many times and have always been treated very warmly. The cuisine is excellent and every morsel is made from scratch. The restaurant is unique and fabulous! I would urge everyone to try this dinning experience.
What can i say?! This is the best middle eastern restaurant in town hands down! i have had just about everything on the menu and i cant complain. the chef, who i believe is the owner came to our table to check on us. he even gave us an appetizer (Baba Ganooj) to try on the house. thats what i call service! I recommend this to anyone looking to try something new and exciting!! you will fall in love
This place is hands down our favorite restaurant. The Maza combo lets you try several things and the chicken shawarma (sp) is my favorite! Everything is always great (and good for you!) The service is fantastic. The servers are friendly and helpful. I was afraid to take my mother in-law here since it is a little different but she LOVED it.
Even if you are apprehensive to try this kind of food, Try it, you will not be disappointed!
I like this place and worry that they aren't busier, they should be. People wait to get into Olive Garden next door and this place is better. Wide selection, I usually eat lunch but dinner looks just as good.
This place has the best Middle Eastern food! We drove 20+ miles each way (from Medina) to try this place. We heard the rice was outstanding and it did not disappoint! The fried kibbe was outta this world and the lamb was done to perfection.
We can't wait to go back!
