Truely a disgrace this place. Food is overpriced for starters from the appertizers to the entrees. They have a host that pretends to seat you, doesnt pull chairs out for ladies? The staff there is laim boring and dont go into much detail about the food when prompted with questions. I practically had to beg the waiter for more lemon for my sushi and water. Down to the food quality its mediocre at best. The vieteneise pho entree is 21 bucks? LOL. I have eaten that dish at numerous thai/vietnese restaurants over the years and never paid more than 8 bucks. The beef was super fatty and lacked flavor. The sushi is pathetic from the overprice to the lack of flavor. You small town people think this is a good place to eat because you dont know any better, but if this was in a big city like a New York or Chicago they would have no chance of survival. The prices are a true disgrace, also the atmosophere sucks. No music? Lack of service, I wanted to walk out but my girlfriend wouldnt let me. I would advice all people to either eat somewhere else or cook at home. I can make better steaks for a fifth of the price, and they also charge 8 bucks for edanamme? LOL. Its 1.50 in the grocery store and it tastes better and you also get double the portion. For anyone that wrote a positive review of this place you either work for them, or are too ignorant to know what fine dining truely is because there is no competition in the area to compare it to. A big thumbs down I felt very ripped off and would never ever go back again. And the service is pathetic honestly.
The service was good the food was way over priced. Ordered a delmonico steak it had more fat than meat. I was not impressed and neither was the the group I was with so we will not recommend this place to anyone.
This is my favorite place to eat in Jamestown. It has a great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and unique and delicious menu choices (the last time I was there alligator gumbo was the special). Also, this is the ONLY place in Jamestown to get good sushi. Their california rolls are excellent.
