Smok'n (not Smok'd) Bones does a great job with the food they serve. The Cornell Bar-B Que chicken is amazing. It is a vinegar, as compared to tomato, marinade, so it tends to be savory, not sweet. The pulled pork and ribs are showcased by Ray's signature sauce. It certainly isn't anything out of a bottle. Portion sizes are big and the cornbread is legendary. What more could you want?
the best ribs i have had anywhere. better than the more famous rib joints that i have eatin' in. i have tried ribs all over the us and some foreign countries and nobody compares in price, quantity and QUALITY. i stop at smokin bones evertime i'm in the burdett area. the food is that good.
Terrible food and really horrendous service. My chicken was over marinated and raw. My friends pulled pork had so much sauce and bad sauce at that, it was hard to taste the meat. It took over 45 minutes to receive any food.
I have had a lot of great BBQ and this is not it. Not worth the time and trouble to go there.
