Anchalee Thai is literally the BEST Thai in Greenville. Way, way better than Lemongrass, and even better than Thai 360. Here is why: 1. The service is impeccable. This was my 4th visit, and it has consistently been spectacular. As soon as you walk in, you are immediately greeted with warm faces, you are seated and given a menu. If they recognize you (which they did us on the 2nd visit) they almost guess as to what you will order. If you are a first time visitor, they give you plenty of time to look over the menu, and they go above and beyond answering any questions you may have. They are very knowledgeable about pacing between appetizers, dinner, and desert. That way you won’t be biting into your first spring roll as your food is brought out to you. 2. The food is just incredible. At Anchalee Thai, the flavors are very delicate and intricate with subtle hints of basil and lemongrass that complement each other. You not only can taste the flavors with your mouth, but the aroma helps to correspond all your senses in one remarkable bite. Because it’s so delicate, you don't want Thai food that is drowsed in soy sauce (like at Lemongrass). Their Tom Yum Soup is just incredible, and their spring rolls are crispy, never soggy nor greasy. 3. Oh and... the price? It can't be beat. Their lunch specials are $7.29 (not including tax). With this lunch special, you are first served a warm, pallet tantalizing, wonton soup, then you are served a spring roll and your main entree. Your main entree is a very reasonable portion size, so you will definitely leave there feeling full. For dinner, the prices are slightly larger, but only about a dollar or two. Since it is dinner, the entree sizes are larger than lunch portions. 4. The atmosphere is calming, peaceful, and very exotic. You walk in and immediately you notice the beautiful decor that is reminiscent of Thailand. The ceiling replicates traditional Thai architecture, the details are just exquisite. The tables are dressed with time-honored Thai fabric. All of the subsequent elements combine into a skillfully decorated restaurant. I highly recommend the Kee Mao (drunken noodle) (8.99 for dinner) and their spring rolls(5.99, but you get 5 of them). They have an amazing fried banana dessert with coconut ice cream (which is handmade, with real bits of coconut, its 5.99 and it comes with two scoops of ice cream) its heavenly!! All in all, you will have an astonishing experience at Anchalee Thai

Wow, what an incredible place to eat. I am so addicted to the Drunken Noodle that I have to order it at least once a week. The shopping center is old but is being renovated and is looking very nice, but that doesn't make any difference in the food. Some of the best restaurants are in older/run down places. This is definitely a must try restaurant. I have tried all the others and this place is TOPS!!! Oh and the coconut ice cream is the bomb too....

Authentic and flavorful. The Tom Kha soup was splendid. The Mango Curry was an explosion of great flavors but did not come with nearly enough mango slices. The only reason this ranks at a four stars and not five is because the restaurant lacked originality. Usual menu for a Thai kitchen, but everything was very good. I would have loved to try something a bit more unique. Otherwise, I recommend this place if you are looking for great flavors from the usual thai dishes.

Fantastic restaurant. I was visiting from out of town and we went to celebrate a friend's birthday. They were accommodating to our large party; waiter was very friendly and dealt with our indecisive group; food came quickly, as ordered, and was AMAZING :). I personally had the mango curry and (shared it with a friend, and) I was thrilled. I ordered it as a 3 (on their spiciness scale); I was happy but will probably order as a 5 when (definitely not an if) I return. Everyone in our group was happy with the place. Neat atmosphere. Lots of choices. Zero complaints. The waiter even split the bill with our silly instructions (I paid for half of about 3 different things; and he laughed but did it perfectly, quickly and without too much mocking :) ) I would highly recommend to any individual seeking thai food in greenville.

Out of ten or twenty Thai restaurants I have frequented all over the east coast US this is the best.

The Best Thai I ever had! I had the Yellow Curry and level 1 is what I recommend for spiciness. It was excellent and the fried Tofu absorbs the flavor very well. It is a nice change from meat, but you can get pork, chicken or beef if you like that too. I highly recommend it!

This is by far the best restaurant in Greenville. My friends and I refer to is as Greenville's best kept secret since no one seems to know about it, which is so unfortunate. It is located right off Memorial near the DMV so that's probably why no-one knows it is there. But the food is super fresh and DELICIOUS!!! I highly recommend the mango curry or the yellow curry, but everything I've tried is excellent. Just go for the 1 pepper though or it will be too hot! I hear the dessert is fabulous as well.

Absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, great service, awesome food. We ordered duck and a curry and both were fabulous. I'm very picky with my curry but this one was outstanding! Definitely a place to remember....

Best Thai food in town... sure the outside won't attract you but once you are inside the authentic Thai decor including wood carvings and more will definately take you away from your stress! Kudos to Red Curry Chicken! Extra rice is too expensive but the portion of food is enough for me to overlook it. Staff has always been friendly to us and they remember our usual orders even if it has been a month since our last visit. This restaurant is definately on our top 3 places to go to eat in G-vegas!
