Bocci Trattoria & Pizzeria, Durham

We eat out very offen and have eaten here many times. This is one of the top 2 Italian places to eat. Alway great food.

I had lunch at Bocci today (Monday, 11/10) with three friends. Our server (white female, curly hair) was excellent, the food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. They offer inside or outside seating and also have a back room for private parties. It was busier for a lunch shift but still suitable for a business lunch. It was not loud or crowded and the servers kept the place spotless! Our server came and got our drink order. When she returned with drinks, she offered menu suggestions as we were first timers. We ordered side salads and a pasta entree each. Shortly, she brought our salads and complimentary bread! Within 10 minutes, we were eating our pasta. Great timing for lunch! She offered dessert, we declined and she promptly brought our checks. I must say this was the best dining experience I've had in a long time. Bocci offers everything from cheap and easy pizza by the slice to perfectly prepared pastas and salads. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and co-workers.
