Corner Kitchen

Description

Tucked into a quiet corner of Biltmore Village is one of Richard Sharp Smith's original Tudor Style cottages, and one of Asheville's most surprising restaurants. Chef Joe Scully brings years of culinary experience to bear in his special North Carolina take on Pan-American cuisine (he calls it "Caromerican"), while host Kevin Westmoreland makes you feel as welcome as an old friend at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dine in the sunny "Side Porch", where tables cluster around a generous bar, or in one of the cozy fireplace rooms - upstairs or down. When the weather's right, relax on the Patio and take in the singular beauty of Historic Biltmore Village. If you are looking for the perfect spot for your next meeting, luncheon or other group function, call or email and make arrangements for an unforgettably great special event.

Corner Kitchen is the best place to get breakfast in Asheville! The biscuits and gravy are a personal favorite, but everything is great; from the waffles, to the omelets, to the coffee. The service is always fast and extremely friendly, plus it is located in a renovated home in Biltmore Village. If you don t know anything about Biltmore Village, Google it! It s a pretty awesome story in itself. As far as the heat goes in a below comment, as I said Corner Kitchen is in a renovated house that was built in the 1800 s. The heat may not be so great, but usually the grill and hot coffee help with that.

My wife and I had lunch there today. It was 65 degrees outside and about 60 inside. Everyone was complaining about how cold it was inside and management did nothing to make it more comfortable. We ate quickly and got outside as quick as we could. Food was fine, but won't go back.

Awesome! Lovely dinner with seven other friends. Probably the best dinner of our vacation. Very affordable, and the THE BEST martini of our trip. Look forward to returning in the future.

My daughter and I had breakfast there this weekend and the omelets were excellent. The service was wonderful and prompt. The atomsphere was very cozy..our table was close to the fireplace and the window where we could see the snow falling outside. We were very pleased.

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants- anywhere! I travel a lot and am a bit of a foodie. My husband and I always make time to go to the Corner Kitchen when we are in the area. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner and let me tell you, we have always had an amazing meal and fantastic service. Go for dinner so you can try the soufle of the day- no matter what it is, try it! :)

Best Reuben in the South!
My family found The Corner Kitchen while shopping in Biltmore Village. The building is unique - over 100 years old we were told. The staff was very friendly and energetic and the food is fantastic. I had the Reuben and it is out of this world. The kraut is sweet and the corned beef is authentic. My wife had the Portabello sandwich which also has great flavor. Each sandwich comes with homemade sides which are also very good - my favorite was the feta potato salad, but my wife said that the pea salad was excellent. We will definitely come back.
